Dear Chicopee Hills Families,

We are looking forward to our first Chicopee Hills School Council meeting of the year, tomorrow – Tuesday, September 20 at 7:00 pm.

The meeting will be held using Google Meet. Copy and paste this link into your web browser to join – meet.google.com/dwi-suyj-rph

Parents or caregivers of students of Chicopee Hills Public School are eligible to become members of School Council. Prior to our meeting, please complete the following Chicopee Hills School Council Self-nomination Form. Whether your wish to become a voting member, or a non-voting member, we would appreciate being able to collect your contact information. If you wish to attend the first meeting before you decide about joining council, there will also be an opportunity to fill out the form after the meeting.

At our first meeting, we will complete the task of forming an executive. If you wish to nominate yourself for an executive position (Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary) you can indicate this on the self-nomination form. If necessary, we will hold an election for these positions at Tuesday’s meeting.

Agenda – September 20, 2022

We just want to remind you about a couple of ways your back to school shopping can help School Council’s fundraising efforts at Chicopee Hills.

FACTORY SHOE

For every pair of shoes valued at $35 purchased at Factory Shoe on Victoria Street, Kitchener, Factory Shoe will donate $5 to Chicopee Hills when you present the Chicopee Hills card that was sent home with your child during the last week of school in June. If you have misplaced the card, please contact Erica Quayle at erica@quayle.ca.

MABEL’s LABELS

Your child’s belongings need to be labelled. Please check out www.mabelslabels.ca for your labelling needs. When you visit the website, please click on SUPPORT A FUNDRAISER and enter Chicopee Hills Public before you start shopping. A portion of your purchase will be donated to the school.

Thank you for your on-going support of Chicopee Hills Public School!

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow evening,

Jenni Guy – Principal

Craig Bell – Vice Principal
