PARENT FOCUS GROUP

Chicopee Hills is seeking parents immediately to form a Parent Focus Group. 

Parent Focus Group Purpose: to create school council policies, guidelines, and complete a PRO Grant application. Members of this group could form the executive of the School Council at Chicopee in the fall if they are nominated through the community. 

How many parents? 5-6 parents representing different schools that are feeding Chicopee and parents who have children at different age levels. 

Focus Group Meetings: Wed. May 17 6:30 PM  and Wed. June 7 6:30 PM

The deadline for indicating an interest to be on the Focus Group is May 15, 2017.

SCHOOL COUNCIL MEMBERS

Tentative First Meeting: Tuesday, Sept. 19  6:30 PM

Any parent is welcome to attend School Council Meetings at anytime. Any parents who would like to have voting privileges need to send in their application/nomination form by September 19, 2017. Chicopee Hills is seeking parents who are interested in supporting student learning for all students and being actively involved in building a new school culture.

If you prefer to come to meetings occasionally to learn about the school and do not need to be a voting member, that is great. You do not need to sign up to be a voting member.
