The inaugural meeting of the first Chicopee Hills School Council was hosted on Tuesday, Sept. 19. During this meeting, the membership for the council was established for the year.

We are pleased to announce that the following parents will hold executive positions in our School Council for 2017-2018.

Chair: Brooke Robinson

Vice Chair: Victoria Turnbull

Secretary: Cathy Lapar

Treasurer: Lindsey Taylor

A big thanks to all parents who wished to have their names stand to help build our school council.

During the meeting, the Voting Membership for Chicopee’s School Council was established at 27 members. Quorum has been set as a minimum of 51%. All parents are welcome to attend meetings and any parents coming to school council are considered Members at Large. All school council members need to make a commitment to attend the 8 meetings during the year in order to ensure that we can continue to move forward with school council projects.
