Come along with Acorn the Squirrel! We will learn more about what a day is like for students in Kindergarten at the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB)!
Kindergarten at WRDSB
Join us at the Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) in September 2025! Families can register their children now for Kindergarten.
Who can register for Kindergarten?
- Children born in 2021 are eligible for Junior Kindergarten
- Children born in 2020 are eligible for Senior Kindergarten
If your child is already enrolled in Junior Kindergarten, you do not need to register again.

Coming in Spring 2025 – Registration for Before and After School Programs
Registration for 2025-26 WRDSB Before and After School programs will open in Spring 2025.
These programs qualify for the reduced daily rate under the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) Agreement.
