The first School Council meeting for Chicopee Hills P.S. will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 PM in the Learning Commons (2nd floor). We will aim to finish the meeting at 8:30 PM. All parents are welcome.
Our hope is to provide childcare during meetings. There will be a nominal cost for families to cover childcare costs. We have not organized childcare for the first meeting, but our intention is to organize this for future meetings.
At our first meeting, our goals include:
- establish school council membership (voting members & executive positions)
- share structure of meetings
- share list of meeting dates (10 meetings per year… see list on website)
- identifying interests of our parent community
- share information about the school
- establish school council norms and policies
- engage parents in the learning focus, and programs that the school offers
All meetings will include highlights about the programs and learning focus that we are offering at Chicopee Hills.
Please click the link below to inform us about your interest and intention of becoming a school council member. If you previously completed this form earlier in the spring, you do not need to complete the form again. Any parents who need to fill in the form , please do so by Tuesday, Sept. 19.
